LucidFlex: Rules, Payouts and Price

Everything about Lucid Trading's LucidFlex plan in one place: price at every size, the rules to pass, and exactly how payouts work once you are funded.

Short answer
LucidFlex is the cheapest Lucid Trading evaluation, at $146 list for a 50K account with no activation fee. You need a 50% consistency score to pass, but once funded there is no consistency rule and no buffer. Payouts need 5 profitable days, are capped at 50% of your profit up to a fixed amount, and you get 5 of them before the account is moved to live.

Good fit for

  • Traders who want the lowest price into a Lucid funded account
  • Anyone who dislikes consistency rules and buffers on funded accounts
  • Steady traders who can book 5 green days per payout

Watch out for

  • The scaling plan cuts your size when funded: a 50K starts at 2 minis
  • Payouts are capped at $2,000 on a 50K and do not grow
  • Only 5 payouts before the account moves to live

How the LucidFlex consistency rule works

The rule only applies in the evaluation. Your biggest single day of profit cannot be more than 50% of your total profit when you pass. The sum is: largest day divided by total profit.

On a 50K account with a $3,000 target, a best day of $750 gives 25%, which passes. A best day of $1,800 gives 60%, so you would have to keep trading until your total profit brings that below 50%.

Lucid builds in a small cushion so the evaluation can be passed in two days. On the 50K example, a day of up to about $1,560 still counts as 50%. The cushion is a percentage of what you actually made, not a fixed dollar figure.

Once the account is funded there is no consistency rule at all.

Daily loss limit: on or off

You choose at checkout and cannot change it later. With it on, the limit applies in both the evaluation and the funded account. With it off, there is no daily limit in either.

Hitting the daily loss limit is a soft breach: you are locked out until the next session but keep the account, as long as the max loss limit has not been hit.

Questions

What is the LucidFlex consistency rule?

In the evaluation your largest single day of profit must be 50% or less of your total profit. There is a small cushion so you can pass in two days. Funded LucidFlex accounts have no consistency rule.

How do LucidFlex payouts work?

You need 5 days with at least the minimum profit ($150 a day on a 50K) and a positive net profit for the cycle. You can then request 50% of your profit, up to $2,000 on a 50K, with a $500 minimum. Lucid keeps 10%. There is no buffer to hold back.

How much does LucidFlex cost?

List prices are $89 for 25K, $146 for 50K, $293 for 100K and $407 for 150K. It is a one-time fee with no activation fee. Lucid usually runs a sale and a coupon code on top.

Does LucidFlex have a daily loss limit?

Only if you choose it at checkout. With it on the limit is $1,200 on a 50K in both the evaluation and the funded account. It is a soft breach that locks you out for the day.

What is the difference between LucidFlex and LucidPro?

LucidFlex is cheaper, has a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation and none when funded, uses a scaling plan and has no buffer. LucidPro can be passed in one day with no evaluation consistency rule, but funded payouts need a 40% consistency score and a balance above the buffer.
